First Step

The first step is to size the generator system.  To properly size we need to understand what you or your customer wants to accomplish and identify the major electric loads.  The primary motivational factors influencing the purchase of a home generator system include:

• Health – special equipment needs
• Security – uncertainty as to when power may be restored
• Quality of Life – wants life to go on uninterrupted
  
  

Once we know what they want to accomplish, we can usually offer a couple of home generator options to meet those needs.

We will work with your electrician or ours to ensure that the generator system is installed correctly. If working with your electrician, we will deliver the transfer switch(s) when needed and review all primary and control wiring to ensure everything will be installed properly. If you prefer, we can provide a turn-key installation and take care of everything.



When it’s time for the generator system, we will deliver to the job site and place. After gas and electric are connected, we will return and perform commissioning, startup and testing. When the homeowner is ready, we will provide a complete overview of the generator system.
