Our first installation will be in East Cobb, GA.

How does the SimpliPhi Access 12kW system power a home in Georgia?

Here’s how the system will be set up and work. The SimpliPhi Access 12kW system will be configured to serve a dedicated set of circuits critical to the homes comfort and convenience. Those circuits will include key lighting, refrigerators and freezers, entertainment, garage doors, cooking, security, home office, and some HVAC. The system will be grid tied as well as backed up with a generator. When the utility power fails, SimpliPhi immediately steps in and takes over. While serving the home, SimpliPhi constantly monitors the battery storage level and if required, brings on the generator to recharge the batteries while continuing to power the home. When the battery storage is fully recharged, the generator shuts down, saving natural gas or propane fuel. It’s likely that during a short power outage, the generator will not be needed at all. When coupled with the new DX12kW home generator, with 5 minute quiet weekly exercise, you have a great standby power combination to keep the lights on while saving energy.
